Town Mill Brewery is delighted to announce a new range of chutneys. Created exclusively for us by Four Seasons Preserves, based in Askerswell near Bridport, they are made with our own real ales, malt and hop infusions and fresh fruit and vegetables.
Black Apple Ven, Lyme Pickle, Apple Cobbney and Black Veg are available in the brewery shop now and very delicious they are too.
Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 1:16PM On 12th July this year Lyme Regis suffered from the heaviest floods for many years. As the brewery is built over the river Lym, we were naturally very worried. With storm water lapping at the brewery doors and coming in through airbricks in the side wall, a decision was made to shut the shop. Customers would have had to wade knee deep to get to us. Thankfully there was no damage and the muddy water which did get in was swept clean by Penny, our Weekend Sales Assistant. We’ve had jokey suggestions of watery beer before, but this was ridiculous!

Created by our master brewer using Lager malt together with Perle hops. The result is a very pale Summer Ale with a pleasant floral aroma and a clean, dry, citrus flavour.
Named after a local Iron Age Hill Fort, PILSDON PEN is now available for the Summer on draught in the brewery shop and for the pub trade.
