Named after the stone steps set into the famous Cobb harbour wall, our Winter Special is a hoppy, amber ale with a distinctive smoky, bitter finish. It's going down very nicely in pubs all over the South West, so try it while you can. Also available at our brewery shop to take away, so <strong>Granny's Teeth</strong> can sit in your glass at home too.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It is a light ruby in colour. &nbsp;It&nbsp;has a malted biscuit aroma.&nbsp; It has a pleasant fruity flavour with&nbsp;long hoppy aftertaste. &nbsp;It is 4.2% ABV.&nbsp; It has to be a&nbsp;<strong>REBEL</strong>.</p>
<p>Created&nbsp;by our master brewer using Maris Otter Pale Ale and Crystal malts together with Goldings and Bramling Cross hops.&nbsp; Originally brewed for the 3Brewers Beer Festival in March,&nbsp; Rebel is our autumn special brew.</p>
<p>We're selling it on draught in the brewery shop now and in pubs across the South West.</p>

As the brewery is built over the river Lym, we were naturally very worried. With storm water lapping at the brewery doors and coming in through airbricks in the side wall, a decision was made to shut the shop. Customers would have had to wade knee deep to get to us.&nbsp;&nbsp;Thankfully there was no damage and the muddy water which did get in was swept clean by Penny, our Weekend Sales Assistant.&nbsp;We&rsquo;ve had jokey suggestions of watery beer before, but this was ridiculous!</p>

<p>Created by our master brewer using Lager malt together with Perle hops.&nbsp; The result is a very pale Summer Ale with a pleasant floral aroma and a clean, dry, citrus flavour.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Named after a local Iron Age Hill Fort, <strong>PILSDON PEN</strong> is now available for the Summer on draught in the brewery shop and for the pub trade.&nbsp;</p>
